- Taylor Builders is a long established family business specialising in high quality craftsmanship and has expertise in all aspects of building work, refurbishment and construction. We are committed to delivering stunning property renovations or take on exciting new building projects. We pride ourselves in both listening to and working closely with clients and are able to manage projects ourselves or work alongside architects. We also have particular expertise in works to listed buildings and houses in conservation & sensitive areas and although we have carried out many large projects, no job is too small for us.
- We are based in Calne and historically a large amount of our work has been in Bath, Somerset, Wiltshire and the surrounding area. However, we are happy to undertake work further afield including London.

Having purchased a grade ll listed five-storey town house in the centre of Bath, I was concerned about finding a builder who would treat the property with the respect it deserved and was legally required. I had the pleasure of seeing Matt Taylor's exceptional work when he worked on my next-door neighbours grade ll listed building.
I was in no doubt Matt and his team was the builder for me, and I have not been disappointed.
Matt worked with respect for the house, the project, me and all trades. I was absent in person for most of the six month project but was continuously kept up to date and didn't incur one problem. Pretty unheard of really.
Taylor Builders (Calne) Ltd and my designer Nicola Richards, R & R Designs Ltd made the perfect team.
